One of Japan’s top well known publisher, Shueisha Inc, has made a quite healthy pocket of profit during the year of 2009.

A very healthy one.

A whopping USD $759 million big ones to be precise! All the other manga publishers could not get remotely close to their latest figures.

If you’d ask me, I would have thought significant drop of DVD sales over that past year was the major reason it was doing too well.  That’s why they’ll getting further traction with these hence animation studios are losing out the big slice of that profit pie.  Big time!
