For a couple of months now, American rock band Linkin Park(inset) was asked by the Transformers 2 movie producer to produce another great music score since their last one back in 2007 summer blockbuster hit Transformers.  Their song “What I’ve Done” was “acclaimed by listeners, becoming the top-ranked song on the Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts”¹.  It turned out favourably to be considered and recognized as the music score for Transformers.
Thanks to the great success of Transformers with such overwhelming positive response worldwide, it is an obvious fact that Linkin Park, without a doubt, be given another nod to produce another great music score for Transformers 2. The new music video entitled “New Divide” would be main music theme for the film.  After “New Divide” was composed, it was readily for purchase via downloads on iTunes 3 weeks ago.  I decided to check this out on Youtube and listened to it.  It was great!  Simply sharp.  Definitely captures a lot of things that more or less reflect the mood of the film. Here’s official soundtrack of what’s soon-to-be-the-greatest-summer-blockbuster hit. (Well… actually it’ll be winter for me, I’m living on the southern hemisphere on this side of the planet.  We could really use the heat once a while).  Enjoy!

-I watched the Transformers cartoon version during my childhood days. It is nice to know that good computer graphics brought the Transformers back again. I wish to see more of the Dinobots in action perhaps on another sequel-

Yeah. It sure is. Though personally, knowing where my feelings are coming from when putting up my blog, I’m still an old school mecha fan in many ways. Cause comparing it with Transformers: The Movie, it’s hard to beat the classics, not to mention that special warmth or feeling you get when you listen to the great melodic trance of the Transformers’ opening music and the ultra-cool soundtrack “The Touch”, along with the flawless animation many Transformers were able to appear and do their amazing transformations in their unique ways. Looking back all those years, I’m glad to know the difference between this film and Transformers: The Movie is that cartoon animation still rocks above all! It would be interesting to see how Dinobots are put into action in the next sequel, if possible. Though I wouldn’t expect a lot of great things from it, considering the approach Michael Bay took with the Decepticons design.

Yes I do. Are you referring just Transformers only? Or everything about robot shows and stuff? Cause my blog is about all the cool super robot shows everybody so loved and remembered. Including new ones in this new generation.

Transformers movie rocks. i am a fan of Transformers ever since childhood. Now i have three kids and they all like the Transformers cartoon series and the Movie.

Absolutely! Nothing can beat great classics of Hasbro’s original Transformers G1!
Got my own DVD collection of the series and the movie too! It’s so nolstagic!
